Joseph Prince - Break Every Bad Habit With Christ

Jesus—the light of the world—stands in the midst of your situation today, not to condemn you, but to lift you up and out the pit of bad habit. No matter how long your bondage has been, Jesus is the truth that opens blind eyes and sets captives free. Step out of guilt, condemnation, and frustration into faith and freedom as you see the beauty, compassion, and grace of your wonderful Saviour!

AMS: Word of Hope

Sometimes, God allows other people to receive good things before us so that our Faith can rise to believe Him for ours'. Never allow what you are passing through, to dictate where you are going to because there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Sometimes it's difficult to get started because we don't know where to start. Instead of looking for the start line, just begin from exactly where you are now; you'll soon be on your way. When you think there is nowhere to go but down, look up to JESUS and you'll see another way because He makes a way where there seem to be no way.

Only God has the total picture about life, the rest of us only view it in segments. Until you know what you want, God cannot do it for you (James 1:8). Any man, who looks back to the Sodom of his past, can never enter into the Canaan of his future (Luke 9:62). Thank God for today and hope for a better tomorrow. When you give Him thanks for the little you have today, your little will become much, with leftovers.

It is the vision that you have for your life that becomes set for an appointed time (Habakkuk 2:3). Never become contended with a better yesterday. Every true dream takes time to come to pass, for as long as you keep dreaming, your dream will never expire (Psalms 37:5). That you have not arrived today does not mean that you will not arrive tomorrow (Jeremiah 29:11). Remember, Hope in Christ Jesus never disappoint.
It is well with us all in Jesus name. Amen!
 Have a wonderful day! xoxo

Coca-Cola: "Everything in moderation" - Worst and most commonly used excuse .....Everything in moderation means Health in moderation

Coca-Cola is the world’s second most accepted delicious drinks after water. It brand name is called Coke. However, rumour has it that the beverage itself is an absolute poison to the human metabolism.

Coca- cola was invented by a pharmacist as a remedy to headaches in 1886, the world’s most popular carbonated soft drink is like the American dream in a can - from nothing, 85 eight-ounce cans of Coke were consumed globally per capita in 2008 - more than any other pick-me-up beverages.

Coke has gone through various forms, including Diet, Cherry, Lemon and Zero, but it’s the original, with a brain-freezing, nasal-passage-penetrating kick that keeps people coming back for more.

Speaking from experience, I know it’s cheaper and easier to buy Coke in some third world countries than it is to access clean water. Coke uses “public relations propaganda” to convince consumers and entire nations that it is an “environmental company” when really it is linked to pollution, water shortages, and disease. Coke is very close to the acidity level of battery acid and consequently it can clean surfaces equivalent to and often better than many toxic household cleaners.

Let’s have a look at “the analysis” of one of the most advertised products of “Coca-Cola Co.” –

After 20 minutes of drinking Coca-Cola that contain a lot of sugar, a leap of insulin levels in bloodstream occurs and the liver converts all the sugar into fat. After 40 minutes, Ingestion of caffeine is finally completed. The eye pupils are expanding. Blood pressure rises, because the liver disposes more sugar into bloodstream. The adenosine receptors get blocked, thereby preventing drowsiness. After 45 minutes, body raises production of dopamine hormone, which stimulates the brain pleasure centre. Heroin has the same principle of operation.
After 1 hour of drinking Coca- Cola Phosphoric acid binds calcium, magnesium and zinc in the gastrointestinal tract in the stomach, which supercharges metabolism. Releasing of calcium through urine also rises. After more than one hour, the calcium, magnesium and zinc are removed out of the organism, which are a part of our bones, as well as sodium. At this time we have already become irritable or subdued. The whole quantity of water, contained in a coca cola, is removed by the urine.
Diet Coke is even worse, because the aspartame in it, replaces sugar, becoming pure neurotoxic poison. So, if you can imagine a life without Coca-Cola please do, don’t send yourself to early grave because too much of sugar might kill.
People who consume soft drinks such as Coke have a 48% increase in heart attack and stroke risk, compared to people who did not drink the sodas at all or did not drink them every day. A study published in the journal Respirologyreveals that soft drink consumption is also associated with lung and breathing disorders including asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). To prove Coke does not belong in the human body.
Really ????

Here are practical ways you can use Coke as a domestic cleaner rather than drinking it

1.  To removes grease stains from clothing and fabric

2. To removes corrosion; methods include using fabric dipped in Coke, and later scrub with sponge

3.  To removes blood stains from clothing and fabric

4.  To cleans oil stains from a garage floor; let the stain soak, hose off.

5.  To kills slugs and snails; the acids in the coke kills them.

6. To cleans burnt pans; let the pan soak in the Coke, then rinse.

7. To descales a kettle (same method as with burnt pans)

8. To cleans car battery terminals by pouring a small amount of Coke over each one.

9.  To cleans your engine; Coke distributors have been using this technique for decades.

10. To makes pennies shine; soaking old pennies in Coke will remove the tarnish.

11. To cleans tile grout; pour onto kitchen floor, leave for a few minutes, wipe up.

12. To removes gum from hair; dip into a small bowl of Coke, leave a few minutes. Gum will wipe off.
13. Cleans a toilet; pour around bowl, leave for a while, flush clean.

14. Got a dirty pool? Adding two 2-liter bottles of Coke clears up rust.

15. You can remove (or fade) dye from hair by pouring diet Coke over it.

Now can you imagine what it does to your stomach lining????

Coca-Cola is definitely a very useful product. The crucial point here is to use it for purposes that do not include drinking!

No man is above the law and no man is below it: Police officer arrested over fraud

A serving police officer, a constable has been arrested as part of a fraud investigation. The officer had been suspended from duty as a result of the arrest and the matter had been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
Norfolk Police spokesman said the officer was one of three people - a man and woman in their 30s and a second woman in her 50s - arrested in Norwich yesterday morning as part of an ongoing inquiry.
They were arrested for offences including fraud and money laundering. All three have been released on bail pending further investigations.
"No man is above the law and no man is below it; nor do we ask any man's permission when we require him to obey it." Obedience to the law is demanded as a right from everybody not asked as a favour.
Laws are the epitome of human race. Laws aren't meant to be broken.

Ukraine Political Unrest: The World has gone livid. Where will this lead???

The violence and bloodshed that has engulfed Kiev on February, 20, 2014 has turned the landmark of Ukraine into a burnt warzone of barricades, burned tents and makeshift weapons. Anti-government protesters were taking cover while under fire from police snipers during clashes with riot police in central Kiev.
It was the bloodiest clashes in Kiev since anti-government demonstrations kicked off three months ago after Mr Yanukovych shelved an association agreement with the EU in favour of closer ties with Russia. Moscow then announced a multi-billion pound bailout for Ukraine, whose economy is in tatters.
Confirmed statement on the website of the Health Ministry said 77 people had been killed between Tuesday morning, when the violence began, and this morning. The statement said 577 people had been wounded and 369 hospitalized.
The peaceful showpiece of the ancient capital of Kiev, with an architectural history dating back to hundreds of years became a focal point for political rallies, yesterday.
The White House said the US was outraged by scenes of Ukrainian security forces firing automatic guns on protesters and urged Mr Yanukovych to withdraw forces immediately from central Kiev. No American sanctions were announced.
UK nationals currently visiting or living in Kiev are advised to stay inside. Downing Street said Mr Cameron was seeking to build support for a roadmap for a peaceful resolution proposed by European foreign ministers who held talks with both sides in Kiev yesterday.
Following Mr Cameron phone conversation with Mr Putin, Number 10 said that Mr Cameron and the Russian president had agreed that they should both "encourage all sides in Ukraine to get behind this emerging plan as a way to end the violence and open the way to a lasting peaceful solution".
But Russia's foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov, accused the West of applying "double standards" in the conflict, telling a press conference in Baghdad: "The opposition cannot or does not wish to distance itself from extremist groups.
According to people and hearsay about Russia – Mr Putin is not using his influence to press his authority on Ukraine. Russia gives oil and natural gas to Ukraine on lowest prices! If Bandera wins and EU (USA) will get what they want - Ukraine will be doomed...
In my opinion, please don’t come for me, I am not a politician. I just want to voice out my opinion on this blog. I fear people have turned a corner into a world that is full of darkness and innocent blood shedding. No political and philosophical narration is needed. How are we able to support life without the risk of societal breakdown at every turn? I always thought that with the collapse of communism and the break-up of the Soviet Union that the Ukrainian people would go on to have real freedom and better lives, how badly wrong I was. According to hear say, cash machine are not dispensing money and rich people are leaving the country with their private jet and where does that leave the poor.
The way the governments treat their own people these days it’s nothing to write home about, it’s terrible when the people of these countries- Ukraine, Nigeria Venezuela and Syria have to do all this rioting, but at the end of the day the government shouldn’t promise things if they can’t keep them.
This massacre of protesters will only fuel the current wave of protests and will push the protesters to become more radical, extreme and violent in retaliation. Already few reports of policemen being killed and this is exactly how the Syrian civil war started... looks like history is on the verge of repeating itself... I hope I'm wrong! Please God give us peace in our nation!

Lupita told the magazine that she is surprised at how much attention she has been receiving. To all my ladies out there, it does not matter, the colour of your skin or your background, always expect the best and own it anytime.
According to Dujour magazine interview Lupital sounded graceful and humble…………. On auditioning for her 12 Years a Slave role, the actress never thought she would get it.
'My life changed about three weeks ago,' she said. 'That’s when my schedule went from nil to this. 'When I learned Steve McQueen was directing and Brad Pitt was producing, I thought, Well, this is huge. 'I had no expectation of getting the role at all; it was just too out there for me to think I had a chance. 'So I approached the audition like a rehearsal. It was my chance to have that role for 10 minutes, and I owned it. Then I got the part and the panic began.'

YUK!! Watch Pizza Hut becomes Pizza Shut as employee caugth weeing into fast food deep kitchen sink in Kermit,West Virginia

The branch of the fast food chain (Pizza Hut) in Kermit, West Virginia, has been shut down after surveillance footage emerged of the district manager relieving himself in the sink.
Since the shocking and stomach-turning surveillance video surfaced the local media reported that the Mingo County health department has ordered the pizza hut in Kermit to shut down. The employee in question has since been fired. His name was not released.

Watch the below  35-second video shot and see how the manager calmly walked up to a deep sink in the fast food restaurant kitchen, unzipping his jeans and wee……..

The big deal about this video is that:
1. This man is not just your average "employee".....the district manager!!
2. The district manager is using kitchen as toilet
3. Does not shake off the last drops (smelly pants)
4. Barely turns on water to 'flush'
5. Does not wash his germ hands
5. Obviously, he did this on a regular basis.
6. I am not judging him but the man is too careless
Did you know that 75% of men who go to the bathroom just to Wee/Pee or urinate don't wash their hands?  See if you hear the bathroom faucet running after your brother, dad, grandfather or uncle uses the bathroom.  You won't.  Eewww oh no!!!
Then, they still use the same hands to prepare the food, shake hands and hugs. It is important to bring this topic up in your house.
Now think twice before ordering a dirty pizza!!!

Eat all you can or food wastage??? Student hunts for food from the supermarket dustbin to survive

The question is, would you eat a food from the supermarket dustbin? The above picture is the astonishing haul of free food that a group of student 'skip divers' snatched from a supermarket dustbin.
The group of student always scaled a 10ft metal gate before taking the food which was past its sell-by date out of a smelly bin compound to survive.

According to the reporters -The results of one night's trip by these students, including racks of ribs, gourmet sausages, cheese strings, sweet breads, citrus fruit, ready meals and a bunch of roses - all deemed out of date by supermarkets.
In this part of the world we have been encouraged to shop and consume for decades and have lost the good habits which were the backbone of households. We must remember the future and develop sustainable eating habits to help ensure enough food for the future. Food may seem plentiful now, but we should beware of a false sense of food security.
I am not surprise that this kind of food wastage is happening in the so called developed country while children are crying for just one banana a day in under developed nation. By and large people are really starving and suffering. Forget about developing nation or developed nation.  The law of supply and demand is the same everywhere all over the world.  Consumers are seriously worried about the cost of food and how it has increased over recent years. Yet, as Wrap's research shows, supermarket are still wasting millions of tonnes and billions of pounds on food.

Some people have no idea how to budget and some of them have their lives revolve around best before and sell by dates without realising they're throwing good food away.

Perhaps the reason why supermarkets waste a lot food is partly to do with how cheaply food is produced from Africa and imported into the UK. Those who grow and make their own food have respect for where it has come from and how it came to be on their table. The gap between the consumer and the consumed is narrower. Ultimately, food is too cheap, and too easy to come by in this part of the world.

If people only buy what they were absolutely sure they would eat and Supermarkets only stocked what they were sure they would sell Britain and other developed nation could be a food waste free society. But that would be the end of food for pleasure, buying on impulse and changing our minds with the weather or how we feel. Where there is choice there will be waste. In my opinion the key to this problem is education!

You just don't know ......but start seeing yourself the way God sees you

Good morning friends,
Today is another beautiful day, glory be to God!
I just want to encourage you this morning that you must not be discouraged by small beginning. Please don’t sell yourself short, don't look in the mirror, don't look at your stature, your abilities, or your situation in life because you might be discourage by what you see, just look at Jesus. I want you to know that God can use you to change the world.  Maybe he will raise you up to testify of Him in your community, at work, in your school or maybe He will use you in silence.
It is easy for the unbeliever to conclude that a little mustard seed wouldn't be able to accomplish anything.  But they would be wrong.  Even as believer, sometimes, it is easy to think that the little seeds that we plant aren't going to do anything . . . but we are discounting the Lord’s power and His miracle.

Perhaps you never heard of Neeman’s wife little maid(servant) in the bible, check 2 King 5:1-9 — 2) Now the Arameans had gone out in bands, and had taken captive a little girl from the land of Israel; and she waited on Naaman’s wife. 3) And she said to her mistress, “I wish that my master were with the prophet who is in Samaria! Then he would cure him of his leprosy.”
Here we see how the Lord always has people that will deliver His Word. When there is a person whose heart has been prepared, God always has his word. In the above story, God’s messengers begin with a little captive slave girl. In fact, by His incomparable grace, God worked through the unrighteous deeds of Naaman’s own army to bring this little slave girl into his own home to be the instrument of God’s Love.
But what kind of people does God use? He uses those who are available — those who know and love the Lord. Here was a small girl, humble, obedient, and insignificant to men, living under terrible conditions (Servitude). She was a girl using the problems of life as opportunities to witness for God.
Though small, weak, and insignificant, this little girl knew the all-powerful and sovereign Lord of the universe with whom there was healing. She was willing to point others to the most significant Being of the universe, JEHOVA RAPHA, who alone could cure Naaman’s disease.
Why do you suppose Naaman listened to her slave? After all what could a slave know? May I suggest that he listened because perhaps her life spoke volumes!
I wouldn't be surprised if there was someone here today on this social media who thinks that they are so insignificant, or so small, or so weak, just like that slave girl and thought that God would never notice, care about, or use.  The good news is God does see you, God loves you and Christ died for you.

You may think that the small class you teach in your local community isn't worth your time because it seem the kids are not listening.
You may think that your pounds in the offering bag can't do much.
You may believe that your visits to your sick friend in the hospital isn't accomplishing anything for Jesus.
You may think that quiet prayer can’t move a mountain.
You may think that your speech wouldn't convince anyone of the truth about God.
You may think that that small boy you taught how to write and read does not mean anything.
You may think that your simple gift is not a big deal.
You may think that your incomplete knowledge of the things of God disqualifies you to share with others.
You may think that your faithful witness is falling on deaf ears.
But you don't know what God is doing with that act of obedient of yours or going to do through your faithfulness!  You don't know how many people are going to be set free simply because you were faithful in the little things of life.  You don't know who is reading, watching or listening.  You don't know what God is doing through the seed you plant.
It’s time to stop thinking of ourselves as "just one person" the bible say you are a nation…..  Think of all the times God used one person to change the world.

In conclusion, you are not like that (insignificant), you are a chosen generation, a royal priests, a holy nation, God's very own possession. You were chosen to tell about the excellent qualities of God, who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.
Start seeing yourself the way God sees you!  God bless!

Joseph Prince - Ministers And Leads In Free-flow Worship - 15 Jan 2012 (...

An Ethiopian Airlines co-pilot hijacked airplane to seek asylum in Switzerland but arrested in Geneva

The Boeing 767-300 aircraft with 202 passengers and crew on board had taken off from the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, and landed in Geneva at about 6am local time (0500 GMT). Officials said no-one on the flight was injured.
Robert Deillon  the Geneva airport chief executive told reporters that the co-pilot, an Ethiopian man born in 1983, took control of the plane when the pilot left the cockpit.
The hijacking began over Italy, Switzerland's southern neighbour, and two Italian fighter jets were scrambled to accompany the plane, Mr Deillon said.
After landing in Geneva, the co-pilot exited the cockpit using a rope and turned himself in to authorities. Police escorted passengers one by one, with their hands above their heads, from the taxied plane to waiting vehicles.
Geneva prosecutor Olivier Jornot said Swiss federal authorities were investigating the hijacking and would press charges which could carry a prison sentence of up to 20 years. Geneva airport was initially closed to other flights, but operations resumed around two hours after the hijacked plane landed.
According to Reuters, the last senior Ethiopian official to seek asylum was Ermias Legesse, a state minister of information who fled to the United States in 2009. The brief incident in Geneva on Monday morning caused the cancellation of some short-haul flights and some incoming flights were diverted to other airports. Hundreds of passengers booked on disrupted flights sought to change their tickets.
Ooh well, thank God nobody was injured……
